My client holidays in Polzeath, Cornwall every year without fail. It’s a place that holds deep meaning for him and his wife — a landscape woven into their happiest memories. He shared a selection of personal photographs with me and simply asked that I be the artist, trusting me to interpret the place in my own creative way.
To begin the process, I created two pastel mock‑ups exploring different compositions and moods. These allowed us to establish the direction he felt most connected to before I move on to the final artwork.

Acrylic on canvas 1102mm x 762mm

“Beltane” Acrylic on canvas 1200mm x 400mm.
Framed. Studland bay with Old Harry Rocks in the distance. Celebrate the hope and splendour of what May Day brings. SOLD

Acrylic on Canvas. Textured paste. Ink. Oil & Chalk Pastel. An aerial view of Old Harry Rocks. My client recently renovated their home and provided me with a paint sample to aid me in creating a complementary painting which would give that final touch to their beautiful and modern home.

The beach is not only my happy place but also for this client. A View from Southborne Beach. Nestled far far away under the moody skies is Old Harry Rocks. Image sitting in these sand dunes sheltering from the strong winds.

“Styx” Mixed Media each canvas 1000mm x 100mm £1,200.00
Framed double canvas painting. This is such a tactile piece with so much texture. I really want you to “feel” your way around it. Mediums used are textured paste, inks, acrylic paint and finished with epoxy resin on the coloured areas only which catch so much reflection that it looks like a different painting from different perspectives. A real talking piece and striking for a minimalist home or old and quirky with the juxtaposition of old and new.

“Battle” Acrylic on Canvas featuring Gold Leaf. 21″x 21″ when framed £350.00
Yes the Civil War was a battle here at Corfe Castle but everyday battling the elements is the agricultural worker. Do you spot him?

“Pink Noise” Acrylic on Canvas. 9″x 9″ when framed £85.00
I love the sound of the rain, especially at night as I’m falling asleep. Did you know that the sound of the rain actually comes under the same umbrella (pun intended) as white noise only more specifically “Pink Noise”?
